| On the 'Real Time on Demand' plan how does the 'Timed Data' feature work?
Once you have connected to the PhoenixAI server, down the bottom right hand side of the screen, an 'SEA' button will appear. That button will be yellow. Yellow means that you are currently viewing 20 minute delayed data. On this plan you can view 20 minute delayed data for as long as you like.
If you would like to view real time data click on the SEA button.
A menu will appear with options like 'delayed', 'timed…' and 'timed [2]'.
By clicking on 'timed…' or 'timed [2]' you can switch on real time data.
You will notice that when real time data is active the SEA button turns green.
The number that appears next to the 'timed' option in the menu stands for the amount of minutes before you're automatically switched back to 20 minute delayed data. This is a fail-safe so you don't use all your real time minutes at once.
However: If at any point within the allotted real time period you request further data. E.g. you bring up a different stock in a chart or a market depth window, the timed period will reset. This could mean that if you've set the timed period to 30 minutes, you may inadvertently stay connected to real time data all day and loose most of your real time minutes in one hit.
So, it is recommended that you only use the timed period in lots of 1 - 5 minutes.
Alternatively, if at any point you wish to stop receiving real time data simply click the 'SEA' button and choose 'delayed'.
